Introduction 

 

GHP Sport Experiences (GHP SE) was founded in 2019, to promote the Official Brazilian National Team Soccer Methodology though the CBF School Boca Raton Brand. The 5 time World Cup Winner Soccer Methodology promotes education, citizenship, and sportsmanship. Our goal is to provide fair playing opportunities and achieve high performance both on and off the soccer field. 

 

These rules and regulations are important guidelines for conducting our operations for continued success in the spirit of this soccer institution. 

 

Before you agree to become a member of GHP SE & CBF School Boca Raton, please take the time to read and understand this document.

We are CBF School Boca Raton.

 

This logo is for the exclusive use of CBF School Boca Raton by GHP SE. It may be used on uniforms, equipment, merchandise and official communications. Only the club Board of Directors may vary the CBF School Boca Raton logo. 

 

The secretary will be the keeper of the official logo. 

 

Decisions will be made by a majority vote of the Board of Directors. The decisions of the Board will be final and without appeal. Team and Individual Members agree to put the interests of the team ahead of the interests of the player. If conflicts arise between a team and player, the team coach, under the guidance of the Board, will be responsible to make decisions for the good of the team. 

 

The coach’s’ decisions will be objective and based upon the best evaluation of the facts. Once a decision has been made, the players must agree to abide with the decision. 

 

Sportsmanship 

 

GHP SE and CBF School Boca Raton are about promoting participation, education, physical development and enjoyment of the sport of soccer in an organized environment. Participation of our players, coaches, game officials and spectators should be positive in nature. Members are expected to display a high level of sportsmanship and fair play. All participants in our activities are expected to comply with our “Codes of Conduct” as defined in this document. 

 

Volunteerism 

 

GHP SE & CBF School Boca Raton welcomes volunteers. Parents are welcome to contribute with their time and efforts towards day to day operations and the overall betterment of the teams. All volunteers shall accept all rules and regulations.  

 

Any member may discuss ways of volunteering time with the Board of Directors or emailing at contact@cbfschoolboca.com . 

 

Player Registration 

 

All players must register and accept our waivers using Sportsengine Registration links provided on our official website.  

 

PRACTICE - Code of Conduct

Players Responsibilities & Rules 

​

1. Work hard, have fun and give your best effort every time you are on the field for practices or games. 

2. Wear all required equipment (shin guards, proper shoes & uniforms). 

3. Pay attention to the coaches when they are speaking and providing instructions on or off the field. Respect the decisions of the referee. 

4. Be a team player. Players should learn the rules of soccer and play by them at all times. Learn and develop teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship and practice them. 

5. Be on time for all games and practices. Persistent lateness or absence will result in reduction of playing time. 

6. Disrespectful behavior to coaches, referees or other players will not be tolerated. The use of indecent or profane language is unacceptable. Use of such language may result in suspension. 

7. Fighting, horseplay or any physical or verbal abuse will not be tolerated. Penalties may include issuing a red card and ejection from the game. The Board of Directors may impose additional penalties up to and including suspension from the league, club and / or practices. 

8. Players should follow all Covid-19 recommendations published in our web site and any further recommendation communicated by our staff and/or coaches.

 

Parents Responsibilities & Rules 

 

1. Be sure that your child attends all practices and games. Coordinate transportation to ensure that the player is prompt when arriving and departing. If unable to attend a game or practice, notify the coach and/or manager of the team. Persistent, unexcused absences and lateness may affect the future inclusion of a player on the game roster. 

 

2. Ensure that your child brings all equipment and uniforms to games and practices. 

 

3. Support your child's coach and help when you can. Disagreements with your coach do not belong on the field. Questions, input and positive suggestions should be voiced to the coach in the absence of players and not during matches or practices.

 

4. Parents are encouraged to come and watch, but should not shout instructions from the sidelines. This causes confusion. Players should listen for coaches and refs instructions only. 

 

5. Parents and spectators for each team should remain at least six feet behind the sidelines and across the field from players. Parents should not stand behind the goal posts or goal line. Parents should not go on the field before, during, or in-between games and or practice. 

 

6. Parents are expected to set a good example for the children at all times by their positive behavior, sportsmanship, attitude and language. Abusive language, behavior or physical assault may result in immediate suspension from the soccer program. 7. Parents should follow all Covid-19 recommendations published in our web site and any further recommendation communicated by our staff and/or coaches.

 

 

MATCH DAY - FRIENDLY AND COMPETITIVE

​

All individuals responsible for a team and all spectators shall support the referee. Failure to do so will undermine the referee's authority and has the potential of creating a hostile environment for the players, the referee, and all the other participants and spectators. Keep in mind that many of our referees are kids learning how to officiate the game. They need your support so they can continue to develop. Would you want parents and coaches yelling at or intimidating your kids?

No one, except the players, is to speak to the referee during or after the game. Exceptions: Coaches may ask questions before the game, call for substitutions and point out emergencies during the game, or respond to the referee if addressed.

Absolutely no disputing calls, during or after the game, no remarks to the referee to watch certain players or attend to rough play. NO YELLING at the referee, EVER, and no criticism, sarcasm, harassment, intimidation, or feedback of any kind during or after the game.

Violators may be ejected and are subject to disciplinary action by the GHP SE - CBF School Boca Raton Board of Directors.

PARENTS: 

• Refrain from coaching from the sidelines.  Leave this to the coaches.

• Refrain from using profanity.

• Please Stay off the field, unless a coach or referee is asking for parent assistance.

• Keep the winning of games in perspective.  Player development is the most important thing.

• Encourage and support players.  Do not place an unwarranted amount of pressure on the players, including post-game discussions.

• Ensure that players attend training and games regularly and on time.

• Give adequate notice for all absences from training and games.  Be honest in all dealings with coaching staff.

• Attend all pre-arranged parent meetings.

• Keep the coach fully informed of any injuries or matters that may affect performance.

• Advocate a healthy lifestyle that is appropriate to development.

PLAYERS: 

​

• Always conduct yourself with respect.

• Always respect other people and property – you are an ambassador for the club at all times.

• Maximum effort is a minimum requirement – always take pride in your performance, even at training.

• Attend all training sessions and games punctually.

• Pay complete attention to the coaching staff.

• Always wear shin guards for all training and matches.

• Always help with equipment during practice.  You should not need to be asked.

• Always get a good night’s sleep prior to any games.

• Learn the rules of the game.

• Be appreciative of your parent’s support.

• Have a good attitude, both on and off the field.

• Be proud of your appearance on the field.

• Always show good sportsmanship.

• Accept any decision given by the referee.

• Never retaliate, verbally or physically, no matter what the provocation may be.

• Use of profanity can result in ejection from games or dismissal from practice

COACHES:

​

• Always keep the best interest and well being of the children as the highest priority.

• You will use coaching techniques and methodology appropriate for all skills and ages

• You will utilize a variety of game strategies, plays, and defenses which allow for highest level of skill development. 

• In both victory and defeat, the behavior of the coach shall model grace, dignity and composure.

• Treat referees with respect and accept any decision given.

• Do your best to organize practices in cooperation with the club training staff that are fun and challenging for your players.

• Stress fair play and good sportsmanship whether winning or losing. During the game, you are responsible for the sportsmanship of your players. If one of your players is disrespectful, irresponsible or overly aggressive, take the player out of the game at least long enough for him/her to calm down.

• During the game, you are also responsible for the conduct of the parents of your players. It is imperative to explain acceptable player and parent behavior in a preseason meeting. Encourage them to applaud and cheer for good plays by either team. Discourage them (and you may need to be assertive and direct) from yelling at the players and the referee.

• You will provide a sports environment for your team that is free of the use of profanity, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and you will refrain from their use at all sports events.
